Choose what you want to remove

• One saved item: delete it directly in your vault.
• The Instagram connection: disconnect it to stop new saves.
• Your full Stelth data or waitlist entry: send a request to the address below.

Deletion and privacy requests are normally free. Ask for a copy of your data before requesting deletion if you want to keep it.

Delete a saved item

Open your vault, sign in with the account you used to save it, choose Delete on the item and confirm. This removes it from the active vault database.

Disconnect Instagram

In your vault’s Instagram connection section, choose Disconnect. Existing saves remain until deleted. Disconnecting does not delete your Instagram account or messages held by Instagram.

Request full deletion

1. Email stelth.xyz@gmail.com with the subject “Stelth data deletion request”.
2. Tell us whether to remove your vault, Instagram connection, waitlist entry or all Stelth data. Include your signup email and, if relevant, Instagram username. Never include passwords or API keys.
3. We will verify ownership proportionately, remove the relevant data we control and confirm the outcome. We may ask you to demonstrate access to the connected account. An email alone is not permission to delete another person’s vault.

If you cannot sign in, explain that in your email so we can agree on safe verification. There is currently no automatic whole account deletion button. You can also request a copy of your data at the same address; where the right to portability applies, request a reusable format such as JSON or CSV.

What the request covers

Full deletion covers vault items, your Instagram link, pairing and connection records, associated reply records where identifiable, and your waitlist entry if requested. We explain any data retained for a specific legal reason. Technical hashes that cannot reasonably be linked back to your account may not be identifiable for individual deletion.

We normally respond within one month. If extra time is legally permitted, we explain why. Active storage deletion is separate from the expiry of provider backups and logs. We cannot promise immediate erasure of all backups.

Leave the waitlist only

Email from your registered address with the subject “Remove me from the Stelth waitlist”. This withdraws consent to future launch and access emails.

Shared library and creator concerns

No shared library or public ranking operates today, so your current private saves have not become library contributions. Before sharing is introduced, we will provide contribution removal instructions and explain what happens to counts or copies. These deletion instructions do not authorise publication of your content.

If you are a creator or another person concerned about content or personal information processed by Stelth, email the relevant source or item link and explain your request. You do not need a Stelth account to report a concern.

Information outside Stelth

Deleting Stelth data does not delete your ChatGPT or Instagram account, original public posts or messages retained by Meta. Use those services’ own controls to manage their copies. See our privacy notice.
